All classes offered through the Caldwell Pool are Red Cross certified classes. The first four sessions of the summer are one half hour classes held Monday -Friday for two weeks. (Level VI class runs for 1 hour). The fifth session will be held for one week; one hour classes Monday – Friday. Children as young as 6 months through 3 years may enroll in a “Mommy and Me” program. This class requires a parent or adult to be in the water with the child. Levels Preschool (age 3+) through Level III will have a maximum of 6 students. Levels IV and V will have 8 students and Level VI will have 10 students.

2017 Enrollment Information
The swim lesson schedule is located at the bottom of the page under Swim lesson information. Walk-in and mail-in registration will begin the month prior to class starting. All registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Please note the following registration dates:
- Session 1, 2: Register May 1 - June 16
- Session 3, 4: Register June 19 - July 14
- Session 5: Register July 17 - July 28
Online and phone registration is not available for swim lessons. Please contact the Parks & Recreation office for more information, 208 455-3060.
After completing the registration form, it can either be mailed in or brought to the Parks & Recreation Office, 618 Irving St., Caldwell. For all mail-in registrations, please include session date, time, and level needed. Mail received before the registration dates will be returned. Mail-in registrations will be processed after the first walk-in registration date. No changes or refunds will be issued once child is enrolled; see Refund Policy below for more information.
Daycare centers will be allowed to register students on the Wednesday following registration opening date, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Please know exact level for each child. There will be a maximum of 15 students per session.
A total refund will be given with notice prior to class starting for injury or illness which prevents the child from entering the water. Refunds will not be given:
- If parent enrolls child in wrong class
- If unscheduled event prevents child from attending
- Due to weather
