This portion of the Street Department website is here to provide you a list of current and upcoming road closure information related to all City Department caused road closures in the City of Caldwell.  Road closures caused by other agencies such as the Department of Transportation on non-city maintained roadways or roadways outside of the Caldwell city limits will not appear here.   • On January 9 until December 1 there will be a road closure on Smeed Parkway between Slipstream Way and Linden Street. Caldwell Water Department will be installing a gravity irrigation line. Barricades and information signs will be posted. Detours will be clearly marked. Business access will be open via Hwy 20-26 only.        
  • On May 1 until January 14, 2018 there will be a road closure on Arthur Street between S. 7th Avenue and Kimball Avenue. McAlvain Construction will be constructing the Indian Creek Plaza with scope of work to include repaving of Arthur Street and new sidewalk installation on S. Kimball Avenue. Barricades and information signs will be posted. Detours will be clearly marked.
  • On September 5 until November 30 there will be a road closure on E. Linden Street between Aviation Way and S. KCID Road.  City of Caldwell crews will be working on a road construction project to tie-in the new section of Smeed Parkway into Linden Street. Crews will also be working on storm drains, water lines, irrigation lines, installation of curb, gutter, and sidewalk, and rebuilding the Linden Street section of roadway. Barricades and detour signs will be posted.
  • On September 26 until October 16 there will be a road closure on Main Street between S. 5th Avenue and S. Kimball Avenue. Idaho Materials & Construction will be reconstructing the roadway. Barricades and detour signs will be posted.
  • On October 5 until October 13 there will be a lane closure on S. KCID Road between Goldfinch Street and Pheasant Run Street. Das-co of Idaho will be installing a gas service line on the east side. Information signs will be posted and flaggers will direct traffic.
  • On October 12 until October 20 there will be a lane closure on E. Chicago Street at the intersection of Badiola Street. Track Utilities will be installing a new fiber optic service line. Information signs will be posted and flaggers will direct traffic.
  • On October 12 until October 26 there will be a lane closure on S. Lake Avenue between Dearborn Street and Everett Street. Intermountain Gas will be working on a gas service line. Information signs will be posted and flaggers will direct traffic.
  • On November 11 there will be a one-day road closure on S. 11th Avenue between Blaine Street and Dearborn Street and on Cleveland Boulevard between S. 10th Avenue and S. 12th Avenue. The City of Caldwell, Caldwell Veterans Memorial Hall, and Caldwell Elk's Lodge will be hosting a "Veteran's Day Celebration" event. Barricades and information signs will be posted.
  • On October 12 there will be a one-day lane closure at the intersection of S. 9th Avenue and Dearborn Street. Forest Management Inc. will be trimming trees. information signs will be posted and flaggers will direct traffic.
  • On October 23 until November 3 there will be a road closure on Fillmore Street between S. Kimball Avenue and S. 9th Avenue. Titanium Excavation will be working on a sewer line service, a water service line, concrete work, and asphalt repairs. Barricades and detour signs will be posted.
  • On October 18 until October 25 there will be a lane closure on Fillmore Street between S. Kimball Avenue and S. 9th Avenue. Das-co of Idaho will be working on a gas service line. Information signs will be posted and flaggers will direct traffic.
