Job Summary/Qualifications: The City of Caldwell is testing to establish a roster for the position of police officer. The Caldwell Police Department has 69 officers to serve a population of approximately 55,000.  Patrol officers work 12-hour shifts with 4 days on/4 days off. Must possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with other City employees and the public. Must possess or have the ability to successfully complete the Basic POST Certification. Must be 21 years of age and subject to a pre-employment drug test.

Testing: Testing consists of a written test, physical fitness test, polygraph, psychological exam, and a thorough background investigation.

Testing Information: The written and physical fitness tests will take place at 9:00am on April 11, 2019 in the Community Room at the Caldwell Police Department at 110 South 5th, Caldwell, ID. Check-in will begin at 8:15am on April 11, 2019.

Testing Attire: Workout attire is appropriate for both phases of the test.

Full or Part Time: Testing process establishes an eligibility roster for Full Time Police Officers
