Captain Devin Riley

Captain Devin Riley was born and raised in Caldwell. Devin worked for the City of Caldwell for several years and in 2001 he began his law enforcement career with Caldwell Police Department.  Devin started in patrol, and later became a School Resource Officer (SRO) in the Juvenile Division. Devin coached basketball for the schools and also mentored several children outside of the schools before being promoted to Corporal in 2008. Devin still continues those relationships with the school districts and the children he has coached and mentored.

In 2011 Devin was promoted to Patrol Lieutenant where he served for 4 years as the patrol division commander. Devin was later promoted the rank of Captain in 2015.

Captain Riley is an ambassador for the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce, and is a mentor for the Mentoring Network Inc. which serves five rural school districts. Devin continues to build relations in the community and knows the importance and value of the citizens of Caldwell for whom he has served for over 16 years and continues to do so today.
