Councilmember Brad Doty graduated from Kamiah High School in northern Idaho. He served in the US Army from 1990 to 1994 and began his law enforcement career as a deputy sheriff in 1994. In 1997, he became a state trooper and has completed the School of Police Staff and Command from Northwestern University. Brad retired holding the position of Major with the Idaho State Police. His career achievements earned him his final assignment as Commander of Districts 1 and 2, Alcohol Beverage Control, Bureau of Criminal Identification, Strategic National Stockpile and ISP patrol budget. In his free time, Brad enjoys volunteering his time to youth sports, as well as various charitable causes around our community. He has four beautiful daughters and places an emphasis on their education and well-being. Brad was elected in 2021 and began his term on the Caldwell City Council in January of 2022.
