Special Event Permit

Who needs a Special Event Permit?

  1. You are planning an event in a city-owned park or city-owned facility that will be open to the public, and
  2. You estimate that the attendance at your event will be more than 250 people, or you plan to have vendors at your event, or you will need to close a road.
  3. Any public event that requires a road closure of any kind will need a Special Event Permit from the Clerk's Office, and a Right of Way Permit from the Engineering Department.

Applications

Please complete and turn in the appropriate application below after the checklist items are complete, and at least 30 days before your event. If you have just decided to hold an event, and you are less than 30 days from your event date, contact the City Clerk's office before you submit your application.

Print Form

  1. Open the form.
  2. Use the print icon in the upper portion of the window to print the form.
  3. Fill the form out by hand, and scan/email it to cityclerk@cityofcaldwell.org, or bring it to 205 S. 6th Ave (City Hall), and turn it in to the City Clerk's Office.

If your event is in Memorial Park, you will need the following 2 documents as well:

  1. Download the application
  2. Fill out the application
  3. Click "Submit" and will automatically compose an email to cityclerk@cityofcaldwell.org
  4. Add any required attachments to the submission email
