Please note that road closures, resulting from other agencies, including the Department of Transportation, on roads not maintained by the city or those beyond Caldwell's city limits, will not be listed here.

Jan 14 - Feb 13	Due to recent inspection findings from Idaho Transportation Department, there are new weight restrictions in force on the old Indian Creek bridge under Blaine Street just west of S. 6th Avenue.  These weight restrictions will be in place until the bridge can be removed.  The posted weight restrictions from Idaho Transportation Department are as follows:  singe unit (12 tons), semi tractor-trailer combination (22 tons), truck-trailer combination (28 tons).  If you exceed these weight restrictions, please use the alternate route in the attached traffic control plan.  Information signs and detour signs will be posted.  The bridge is planned to be removed and the street section restored sometime in February.  For additional information or questions, please contact Bruce Mills at 208-455-4689 or bmills@cityofcaldwell.org.
