Caldwell Launches new Mayor’s Initiative, "Seasons of Caldwell"

Mayor Wagoner is proud to announce the Seasons of Caldwell, a year-round mayor’s initiative designed to celebrate the heart of our community through four distinctive seasonal themes. Each season will focus on different aspects of civic engagement and personal growth, inviting residents and visitors to connect, contribute, and learn together throughout the year.
The Seasons of Caldwell started last winter with the Season of Giving. Citizens were invited to participate in the Season of Giving by considering volunteering, offering a helping hand, or simply lending an ear. The Seasons of Caldwell resumes next month with the Season of Caring and will continue with other seasons focused on community and individual growth. The initiative is designed to foster a sense of belonging, purpose, and compassion, with activities and events tailored to each season's focus.
Season of Caring | February 6 – 20, 2025
Season of Caring, will run from February 6 to 20 and will be a time dedicated to compassion, kindness, and local outreach. During these two weeks, Caldwell will come together to support neighbors in need through food drives, charity events, and volunteer opportunities. Special attention will be given to assisting vulnerable populations, including the elderly, families in need, and local nonprofits. The Season of Caring encourages residents to make a positive impact through simple acts of kindness and to create a culture of care and inclusivity. Season of Service | April 19 – May 20, 2025
From April 19 to May 20th, Caldwell will host the Season of Service, a month-long celebration of volunteerism and civic engagement. During this season, residents are invited to participate in hands-on service projects that benefit local organizations and causes. Whether it’s planting trees, cleaning up local parks, or providing mentorship to youth, the Season of Service will give everyone the opportunity to contribute to the growth and wellbeing of Caldwell. This season will feature a variety of educational workshops, cultural events, and skill-building sessions aimed at fostering lifelong learning. Residents can participate in anything from book clubs to hands-on classes, and even local history tours that connect the past to the present. The Season of Learning is an invitation for everyone, from students to adults, to explore new interests and broaden their horizons. Season of Giving | November 25 – December 25, 2025
To close out the year, Caldwell will embrace the Season of Giving from November 25 to December 25. This season will be a time of generosity and gratitude, with community-wide initiatives supporting local families, individuals, and causes. Events will include holiday food and gift drives, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities focused on bringing joy to those who need it most during the holiday season. The Season of Giving aims to spark a spirit of giving that extends beyond the holidays, inspiring residents to continue acts of kindness throughout the year.
