Artisan Fair

Welcome, Artists!

Please read the following information carefully. See links at the bottom of this page for Applications. Copies of the Application may also be picked up at the Parks & Recreation office at 710 Irving Street in Caldwell.

Important Dates for Artist Vendors:

• March 4 - June 13, 2025
  • Applications to participate as a Vendor in the event will be accepted and reviewed by the Artisan Fair Review Committee
    • Complete the online Artist Vendor Application (see below)
    • Include at least 2 but no more than 5 photos for each Medium Category (see below)
    • Applicants will be notified of the Committee's decision within 15 days of receipt
• June 13, 2025
  • Deadline to register and pay fees
    • Approved Vendors will be sent information on completing the registration process

Product Eligibility:

Products must be original work designed, handmade and executed by the applying artist. Participation is open to professional and amateur artists alike. No dealers, agents or resellers of any kind allowed. If two artists collaborate to create ONE product, only one application is required, and both names must be entered on the application.

All elements of art submitted and displayed for sale must be original to the artist in concept, design and execution, and should demonstrate the artist’s creativity and workmanship. No commercial reproductions, imitations, manufactured items, imports or swap meet type items will be allowed. The content of the displayed artwork must be appropriate for all ages; items containing profanity, vulgarity or pornography will not be permitted.

Artist Categories

Each applicant may represent work in up to two (2) Medium Categories. Applicants must include product photos from each Medium Category they are submitting in the application. Each photo must be of a different product.

Booth Information and Pricing

Each Canopy shall be no larger than 10’x10’ (multiple canopies may be used for larger booth areas). Artists must provide their own canopies. Canopies must be properly weighted. Electricity is not available. Booth fees will be waived for the 2025 Artisan Fair.

Artists Application Process

Artists may apply for Caldwell Artisan Fair either via our online form, including digital image uploads, or by mailing or bringing their application (with photos) in person to Caldwell Parks & Recreation. Artists under 18 years of age must have an adult complete the application process and be present at the booth during the Fair.

The Review Committee reserves the right to determine whether submitted applications qualify for acceptance and fit into any of the Medium Categories. The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application. A letter of acceptance or rejection will be returned to the artist within 15 days of receipt of application. Once your application is approved, you will receive instructions to complete the registration process. Booth fees will be due at that time.

Artisan Fair - Artist Vendor Online Application 

Welcome, Food Vendors!

We are waiving the registration fee for food vendors who are selected to participate in our Caldwell Artisan Fair Food Court this 2025 inaugural year!

• Step 1: Carefully review the information below, then complete the Food Vendor Application form (link at the bottom of this page).
• Step 2: You will be notified within 10 days whether your Application has been accepted.
• Step 3: If your Application is accepted, we will provide you a link to the Food Vendor Registration form, where you can officially register for the event, upload documentation, and secure your position in the Artisan Fair Food Court.

This stage of the Application process does not commit you to participation; this is merely a screening process to ensure a variety of quality food options at the event. Once we have approved your Application, we will send you a link to formally register as a Food Vendor. Schedules, logistics and detailed terms of our agreement will be provided at that time.

Cancellations:

By registering to be part of the Artisan Fair, we will ask that you make the same level of commitment as though you were paying a non-refundable deposit. Once accepted, we will be reserving you a spot in the Artisan Fair Food Court at Memorial Park. We may also identify your business by name in our marketing. We recognize that unforeseen circumstances may occur, but failure to give us fair notice of any cancellations may impact your ability to participate in future events.

Licenses and Permits:

Successful applicants must have all legally-required licenses, permits and inspections current at the time of the event (documentation must be uploaded during the Registration process, but is not required at this time). This will include a permit from Southwest District Health Department, completion of a fire inspection if food will be cooked on site, and proof of liability insurance. No alcohol will be permitted at the Artisan Fair, regardless of permit status for other venues.

Power Information:

Electricity is not available at Memorial Park. Vendors are responsible for providing their own generators and wi-fi if needed for food preparation and payment processing.
