This week, 67-year-old Weldon Haney was sentenced to 70 years in prison (50 years fixed and 20 years indeterminate) for three counts of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct and one count of Sexual Abuse of a Child under sixteen that occurred between 2022 and 2024.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims due to the nature of the crimes and the suspect’s patterns. Haney attended Calvary Temple Church, located at 200 S 6th Ave in Caldwell, for many years, and three of the known victims were met through the church.
