City of Caldwell to Host Welcome Home Celebration for Olympian Alyssa

The City of Caldwell is proud to welcome home Alyssa Mendoza, who recently represented Team USA on the international stage at the 2025 World Boxing Championships in Liverpool, England. Mendoza, a Caldwell native and Olympian, showcased her talent, discipline, and dedication while competing at the world level, bringing honor to her hometown and her country.

To celebrate her accomplishments, the community is invited to attend a special welcome home gathering in her honor:

Indian Creek Steakhouse Tuesday, September 23 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

This event will give family, friends, and community members the opportunity to congratulate Alyssa and show their pride in her outstanding achievements.

“Alyssa’s journey is an inspiration to our community and a testament to what hard work and determination can accomplish,” said Mayor Jarom Wagoner. “We are excited to celebrate her success and give her the warm Caldwell welcome she deserves.”
