Fred Meyer Groundbreaking Ceremony

 Fred Meyer, a division of Kroger and a leading multi-department retailer, is thrilled to announce the opening of a new 155,000-square-foot store in Caldwell. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at 10861 Highway 20/26.

This state-of-the-art modern store will offer a one-stop shopping experience, featuring a wide selection of fresh food, groceries, electronics, fine jewelry, home goods, apparel, and so much more. In addition, the store will feature a fuel center, drive-up pharmacy, Starbucks, Fred Meyer Jewelers, and Murray’s Cheese.

The new Fred Meyer store is expected to bring a significant economic boost to the area by creating an estimated 250 jobs. The store is designed to be a one-stop shop under one roof at Highway 20/26 and Middleton Road.

The new store is expected to open in early 2027.
