Linden St and Ward Rd Intersection to Fully Close

The City of Caldwell will fully close the intersection of Linden Street and Ward Road beginning Monday, March 2. The closure will include the temporary bypass road on the west side of the intersection. The closure is expected to remain in place until the end of construction in spring 2026.

“The full closure is a major impact, but it is the fastest way for crews to build the roundabout,” said T.J. Frans, project manager. “That is why we phased construction to shorten the amount of time the intersection is completely closed.”

Motorists should plan for the following impacts:

• There will be no access through the Linden Street and Ward Road intersection.
• The temporary bypass road on the west side of the intersection will be closed to traffic.
• Motorists will be detoured. View a detour map.
• Catalin Drive and Harley Way will remain open.
• School access will remain open from the north.
