The City of Caldwell is aware of a planned gathering scheduled for January 23 at approximately 6:30 p.m., in the downtown area near Indian Creek Plaza. According to Indian Creek Plaza, there is an existing event that same night, Superhero Skate Night. Any other event is not sanctioned by Indian Creek Plaza or Destination Caldwell.
The City of Caldwell recognizes and upholds the constitutional rights to peaceful assembly and free speech. These rights apply equally to all individuals and groups, regardless of viewpoint. The City’s role is to ensure these rights are protected while maintaining public safety and lawful use of public spaces.
The City is not sponsoring, organizing, or endorsing this event. Caldwell Police and other public safety agencies are aware of the planned gathering and will be present as appropriate to support public safety. The City expects all participants to engage in lawful, peaceful conduct and to comply with all applicable laws and lawful directives.
