Favorable Business Climate

The primary mission of Caldwell's Economic Development Department is to encourage economic growth in the Caldwell region that will create diverse, quality jobs and provide a strong financial basis for a healthy community. The department focuses on supporting and expanding existing businesses and assisting new retail, commercial and industrial establishments to develop in the city.

Caldwell has seen significant growth over the last few years, much of which is attributed to the low cost of doing business, the ease of establishing a business, our highly motivated workforce, and a pro-business city administration. Our Economic Development team is committed to supporting the creation, sustainability and growth of both small and large businesses and entrepreneurs.

Come see why Caldwell is becoming home to more and more businesses, and how Caldwell is ready and able to provide for your expansion or relocation needs. We look forward to working with you and welcoming you to our great community!

Retail and Downtown Redevelopment

Downtown Caldwell's historic City Center has exploded with growth in recent months. From the completion of the Indian Creek Plaza (featuring an ice skating ribbon, splash pad and 250 annual events), to downtown's first-run movie theater, the Luxe Reel Theatre, as well as new restaurants and shops emerging throughout the downtown core, Caldwell is quickly becoming the place for families, young adults, and professionals.

Come visit the Indian Creek Plaza to experience all of the excitement firsthand. Contact the Economic Development team for more information about Caldwell's burgeoning City Center.
