The Blueprint Open House & Presentation with Roger Brooks Set for June 2
Caldwell, Idaho — Community members, business owners, and stakeholders are invited to attend a highly anticipated Open House and Presentation unveiling the Envision Central Caldwell 2050 Vision Blueprint, led by destination development expert Roger Brooks.
The event will take place Tuesday, June 2 at Caldwell High School Auditorium, offering an interactive and engaging opportunity to explore the future of Central Caldwell.
The evening will include:
- 5:00 p.m. –6:00 p.m. Doors Open
- 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Presentation
Roger Brooks will present the Vision Blueprint, outlining a forward-looking, community-driven strategy for enhancing Caldwell’s central core while preserving its unique identity.
- 8:00 p.m. | Open House Networking & Mingling
Guests are invited to stay, connect, and continue conversations following the presentation.
The plan emphasizes a commitment to leverage and protect the defining characteristics of Caldwell. Community assets such as the Caldwell Night Rodeo, the region’s deep agricultural heritage, and the College of Idaho, the state’s oldest private liberal arts college, remain at the heart of this vision. These are not elements that will change, but rather strengths that will be amplified with new momentum. The Blueprint focuses on making intentional use of Caldwell’s existing city and urban core, reinforcing the identity, traditions, and way of life that define the community.
A central focus of the plan is investment, accenting how thoughtful, well-planned improvements can generate long-term economic returns. By leveraging data and proven outcomes-such as the economic success and community impact of Indian Creek Plaza, a project originally envisioned by Brooks, the Blueprint illustrates a clear pattern of how strategic investment strengthens local businesses, grows tourism, enhances quality of life, and helps lessen the tax burden on Caldwell residents.
“This is about building a future that the community is proud of and excited to stand behind,” said Brooks. “When people understand the vision and see themselves in it, support follows.”
