Inspections
Inspection Scheduling
Inspections must be called in to the Inspection Line at 208-455-4605. Inspections must be called in by 7:00 AM for same day inspections. All inspections called in after 7:00 AM will be scheduled for the following day, effective immediately. Permits must be paid for and issued prior to scheduling of inspections can occur.
All projects should be ready for inspection at the time of the request. Any project that is not ready for inspection at the time of the request, should be scheduled for the following business day to avoid any possible re-inspection fees. In the event that a project is not ready when the inspector arrives, the inspection will need to be rescheduled for the following business day. Please call the office as early as possible to cancel any inspections that will not be ready.
Depending on the number of inspections on a given day, inspectors will continue their efforts to accommodate with scheduled concrete pours, and unusual situations that require our services on a timelier schedule. When scheduling a time for a concrete pour, please make sure that the project is ready at the requested time, to avoid rescheduling for the next business day.
