    • Boise River and Greenbelt:  Caldwell is located on and just south of the Boise River.  The river flows west/northwest from Boise through Nampa and Caldwell before eventually reaching the Snake River.  Perfect for biking, walking, jogging, and scenic commuting.  
    • Indian Creek:  Indian Creek is one of Caldwell's most defining features, both historically and today.  Indian Creek is a 66-mile tributary of the Boise River that flows directly through downtown Caldwell before joining the Boise River just north of town.  Indian Creek is a walkable greenway with paths, bridges, seating, landscaping, and about 5 acres of park space in downtown.  It is great for strolling, relaxing and community gatherings.
    • Indian Creek Plaza:  Indian Creek Plaza is the centerpiece of downtown Caldwell, hosting hundreds of events per year including concerts, markets and festivals.  It features a splash pad in the summer and an ice-skating ribbon in winter, with outdoor dining and gathering spaces, and children's play areas. 
    • Lake Lowell:  Lake Lowell is one of the region’s top outdoor destinations, located just 5–10 minutes from downtown Caldwell. It offers a mix of recreation, wildlife, and scenic open space.  Lake Lowell is a local favorite for boating, jet skiing, fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and birdwatching.  The Lake has multi-use trails great for walking, biking and running with scenic views.
    • Sunnyslope Wine Trail:  The Sunnyslope Wine Trail is a scenic wine region in Caldwell, Idaho, forming the heart of the state’s wine country within the Snake River Valley American Viticultural Area (AVA).  Sunnyslope is home to about 19-20 member wineries and vineyards.
